This Registration Portal is operated by the Independent Power Producers Association of India("IPPAI", "we", "us") to manage registrations, payments, learning materials and certificates for our training programmes and events.
Information we collect
When you create an account or register for a programme, we collect your name, email address, phone number, organization, designation, and city/state. If you complete a paid registration, we also collect billing details (billing name, address, and GSTIN/PAN where applicable) needed to issue a Proforma or Tax Invoice.
Payments
Payments are processed through HDFC Bank's SmartGateway. We do not store your card, UPI, or netbanking credentials — these are handled entirely by HDFC's payment gateway. We store only the payment status and reference details needed to confirm your registration.
How we use your information
We use your information to process registrations and payments, issue invoices and certificates, share programme materials, coordinate logistics for in-person events, and send you relevant notifications about programmes you've registered for.
Data storage
Your account data is stored securely using Supabase, with access restricted by role-based permissions to authorized IPPAI staff (Accounts, Faculty, Logistics, and Admin teams) on a need-to-know basis for the functions listed above.
Third-party sign-in
If you choose to sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address from Google to create or match your account. We do not receive or store your Google password.
